Nervous Night by The Hooters
About the album Nervous Night
During part of 1984 and 1985, the Hooters recorded their second album titled Nervous Night at Record Plant studios in New York, as well as at Studio 4 in their hometown of Philadelphia. It is a pure American rock album from the mid-1980s.
The success of the album in the U.S. was something that even the Hooters themselves did not expect. A significant role in this success was played by the first single of the album, And We Danced, which was particularly loved by the American audience, reaching No. 21 on the Billboard chart. The Nervous Night album also includes the song All You Zombies, which enjoyed greater success outside the U.S. Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian are the composers of most of the songs, while the name of the album's producer, Rick Chertoff, is also included in some compositions. Among the ten songs on the album, there is a cover of the song She Comes In Colors by Love.
Slowly and steadily, Nervous Night managed to reach 2,000,000 sales in the United States alone, while the fame of the Hooters, thanks to MTV, also reached Europe and Australia.
