About the album Last Splash
The American band The Breeders presents their second album in 1993 titled Last Splash. It is an album which includes various recordings from 1990 to 1993.
Most compositions belong to Kim Deal, a member of the Pixies, who wanted to create and lead the Breeders alongside the Pixies. It is an album where the listener enjoys everything from noise pop and grunge to alternative rock and surf rock. The song that stood out from Last Splash was Cannonball, which was also the first single of the record.
The album managed to go platinum in the U.S. selling over 1,000,000 copies, while it also had special success in France selling 100,000 copies there.
