The Breeders are an alternative rock band founded in 1989 by Kim Deal, bassist of the Pixies, and Tanya Donelly from Throwing Muses. The band became particularly well-known with the album "Last Splash" in 1993, which included the hit single "Cannonball". Their music is characterized by intense guitar riffs and distinctive vocal harmonies, while their presence on stage is full of energy and authenticity. The Breeders have gone through various lineup changes with Kim Deal remaining the central figure of the band.
