About the album One Hot Minute
One Hot Minute by the Red Hot Chili Peppers was considered a commercial failure at the time of its release, selling 2,000,000 copies in the USA. It was the band's sixth studio album in which the Red Hot Chili Peppers move away from the funk sound and turn towards psychedelic rock with heavier guitar riffs.
There is a change in the lineup. On guitars is Dave Navarro (formerly of Jane’s Addiction) following the departure of John Frusciante.
Rick Rubin was the producer of the album.
