About the album More
In 1969, the third official studio work of Pink Floyd was released, titled More. It is the first recording in which there is absolutely no participation of Syd Barrett, who has disappeared.
More is actually the soundtrack for the eponymous film by director Barbet Schroeder, who makes his cinematic debut with this film, which presents the adventures of a young man in Ibiza during the summer and who ends up addicted to heroin. Barbet Schroeder was a big fan of Pink Floyd's music and for that reason, he asked them to write the music for his film.
The album reached No. 9 in the United Kingdom and No. 153 on the Billboard chart in the USA.
