About the album Animals

In April 1976, Pink Floyd entered the studio and began working on their tenth album, Animals, which would be released in January 1977. The cover features the Battersea Power Station in London.

In reality, it is an idea and concept by Roger Waters, starting from the cover and reaching every note recorded, except in the song Dogs, where there is active participation by David Gilmour.

At the time of its release, Animals did not receive the best reviews, but over the years it was loved by the public and is now another classic Pink Floyd album. Its sales are estimated at about 6,000,000 worldwide.
