About the album Pampered Menial

The journey of Pavlov's Dog began in 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1972. During 1973 and 1974, the band composed and recorded the songs that would form their first album titled Pampered Menial in 1975.

David Surkamp's distinctive voice made an impression on the music-loving rock audience. The musical style that characterizes the album is the typical progressive rock style of the mid-decade, ready to be heard on the radio and create hits. This is exactly what happened in Greece with songs like Julia, Late November, or even Song Dance. Sandy Pearlman and Murray Krugman were the producers of Pampered Menial.

The album was released by two companies. Initially by ABC Records and subsequently by Columbia Records. The two editions have slightly different covers.
