Lovehatetragedy by Papa Roach
About the album Lovehatetragedy
Lovehatetragedy from 2002 is the third studio album by the Californian nu metal and alternative metal band Papa Roach. The album was recorded between September and November 2001 at Royaltone Studios in Los Angeles, and this time the producer of Papa Roach's album was Brendan O'Brien.
The eleven compositions of the album mainly belong to the singer Jacoby Shaddix and the bassist Tobin Esperance. The album was a big success in the U.S.A. During its first week of release, it sold 136,000 copies and thus directly reached No. 2 on the Billboard, having to knock down Eminem with The Eminem Show from No. 1 in the U.S.A. - something that did not happen. A few months later, Papa Roach found themselves touring with Eminem for the Anger Management Tour.
Lovehatetragedy entered the Top-40 in many countries, achieving several high positions. For example, in the UK it reached No. 4, in Canada No. 5, and in Germany No. 6.
