After the EP Neidermayer's Mind, Korn returns with their debut LP Korn in 1994, an album that is a landmark for Nu metal. Korn is one of the records that clearly defined Nu Metal. Korn is a record where roughness and rage are abundant.

The album cover was a whole topic of discussion at the time of its release as it shows the shadow of an aspiring rapist approaching a girl in a playground.

The album has sold 2,000,000 copies in the U.S. alone.
