On September 9, 2022, Ozzy Osbourne's latest studio album titled Patient Number 9 was released, which was the thirteenth in his personal career. Ozzy finds the opportunity to shout “I'll never die, because I'm immortal!” in the song Immortal.
In order for the recordings to be completed, a host of rock stars parade through the studio to assist Ozzy on Patient Number 9. So, there are Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, and Zakk Wylde with their guitars, Robert Trujillo and Duff McKagan with their bass. The album's producer is Andrew Watt. Many of the lyrics of the songs appear to be highly autobiographical.
The album reached No.1 on the Billboard and No.2 in the United Kingdom.
