About the album Street Fever

Moon Martin from the state of Oklahoma released his third studio album titled Street Fever in 1980, from which his single Bad News would emerge, becoming a classic one-hit wonder for the 1980s.

The sound of the album is the classic rock sound that prevailed in the USA at the time, that is, a bit of rock 'n' roll, a bit of country rock, a bit of AOR. Despite these elements and the fact that Moon Martin's label is Capital Records, Street Fever would pass rather unnoticed even in the USA. It would reach only No. 138 on the Billboard.

In Australia, the album did better, reaching No. 63 on the country's chart.
