A little before the end of the '90s, Moby offered us one of the most interesting albums of electronica. Play is a summary of this musical trend that developed during the '90s.
Moby takes pieces from blues songs and incorporates them into his electronic music. The funny thing was that the artist intended for Play to be his last album and to retire. Obviously, for this reason, he recorded it in his apartment in New York from 1997 to 1999, the year of its release.
The album was loved both in the U.S. and in Europe. The 12,000,000 sales of Play confirm that.
