Équinoxe by Jean-Michele Zarre
About the album Équinoxe
The French composer Jean-Michele Zarre recorded his second album in a studio inside his apartment in Paris from January 1978 to August of the same year. In production – of course – is himself.
The main idea of Équinoxe was to express a person's day from the morning when they wake up to the evening when they go to sleep! Équinoxe Part 4 and Équinoxe Part 5 were promoted as the album's singles. Équinoxe reached No11 in the United Kingdom and No5 in France. It has sold 3,000,000 copies, half of which in France.
The album cover was created by artist Michel Granger and the work is called “Le Trac”.
