Crises is the eighth studio work of Mike Oldfield in 1983 and follows his previous album Five Miles Out from the previous year.
On the first side, there was the 20-minute title composition of Crises, while on the second side of the album there are five compositions including the hits Moonlight Shadow, Foreign Affair, and Shadow On The Wall. On the album, Maggie Reilly, Jon Anderson, and Roger Chapman sing. In the production of the album, Mike Oldfield had Simon Phillips with him.
The country where the album achieved the greatest success was Germany, where its sales reached 500,000 and thus it was placed at No. 1 in the country.
