About the album 100th Window
After a five-year recording absence, Massive Attack returned in 2003 with 100th Window. Trip-hop has given way to ambient music.
There are three main performers of the songs. Sinéad O'Connor in three songs, Robert Del Naja or 3D, who is also involved in the production of the album, and Horace Andy. Robert Del Naja had conceived the album title since 2000. The singles from the album were Special Cases and Butterfly Caught.
100th Window reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom, selling over 200,000 copies, while in the U.S. it went up to No. 69 on the Billboard chart.
