About the album Lifeblood
The seventh album by the Welsh band Manic Street Preachers neither did well commercially nor is it highly regarded by the band itself. Nevertheless, Lifeblood managed to reach No.13 in the UK. The album was being prepared with the title Litany (there's a song with this title on the Empty Souls single).
Musically, the album moves between pop/rock and alternative rock. The first single was The Love of Richard Nixon.
Three producers were needed to complete the album: Greg Haver, Tony Visconti, and Tom Elmhirst.
