In 1984, at the age of twenty-six, Madonna released her second studio album entitled Like A Virgin, an album that has now reached 21,000,000 copies in sales.

The singles came one after another, and Madonna was higher than the top of the world. The single Like A Virgin sold 6,000,000 copies worldwide. It should be noted that Nile Rodgers was the producer of the album.

Many claimed that this particular album turned Madonna into a superstar overnight. What is certain is that Like A Virgin sparked a revolution in how young women could express themselves regarding their romantic preferences and sexuality. The subject was no longer taboo. Madonna had spoken for all her peers and did so with incredible success.
