Keep Moving by Madness
About the album Keep Moving
The fifth studio album by Madness is titled Keep Moving and was released in 1984. The group, in a way, makes a return to the ska sound that characterized their early works. The recording took place in March and April of 1984. Keep Moving was the last album in which Mike Barson participated, as he left the band after the album's recording. Barson moved to the Netherlands, but he was present when the band reunited in 1992.
The two singles from the album were Michael Caine (dedicated to the great English actor) and One Better Day.
The album reached No. 109 on the Billboard. This was the highest achievement Madness had across the Atlantic. In their homeland, the album reached No. 6.
