About the album Let Love Rule

In the late '80s, specifically in 1989, an album titled Let Love Rule made its appearance. It was the debut of a 25-year-old black singer who, however, did not engage in hip hop but rather in rock, specifically a particular sub-genre, psychedelic rock with many elements of soul music. This was enough to attract attention. His name: Lenny Kravitz.

Moreover, the New Yorker Lenny Kravitz plays guitar, bass, drums, and almost any other instrument needed to record his compositions, as well as produces the album himself. In short, he is a talented multitool.

The third single from the album, titled Mr. Cab Driver, will find success, but this will not translate into record sales as it will reach No. 61 in the U.S. and No. 56 in Britain. The sales of Let Love Rule are estimated to have exceeded 1,000,000 worldwide today.
