Egomaniac  by Kongos

After the success of Lunatic, Kongos entered the studio and prepared their third album, which will be titled Egomaniac, and it will be released by Epic Records in June 2016. Egomaniac and its sound follow the same musical paths as their previous work, that is, the paths of alternative rock with the addition of some electronic and dance beats in their compositions.

And while everything seemed to be going well for Kongos, everything changed as the officials of their record company decided, after the release of the album's first single, Take It From Me, not to continue promoting the album. This led to the relations between the band from South Africa and their company becoming strained, and Egomaniac became the last album of the band to be released by Epic.

The album reached No. 80 on the Billboard and certainly did not achieve the commercial success that Lunatic did. Nonetheless, the album has many noteworthy moments.
