About the album Turbo
In 1986, the British band Judas Priest released their tenth studio album entitled Turbo. The original plan was to release a double album called Twin Turbos, but it was decided to use nine songs - the most notable ones - and release a single album.
The album caused a sensation in its time, but a negative one, as the band's hardcore fans could not accept the excessive use of synthesizers. The truth is that its sound was far from what they had done up to that point.
Despite the negative comments, Turbo sold 1,000,000 copies in the U.S. and reached No. 33 in Britain.
