It is important to emphasize that Judas Priest formed in 1969, and Invincible Shield is their nineteenth album, released in 2024. The album's sound result seems like a small tribute to almost every period of their career.
The first tentative efforts of Judas Priest to record new material started in February 2020, but the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic stopped the band. They finally had to wait until 2022 to start working on something new again.
Judas Priest gives their best here and creates one of the surprises for 2024 in the world of heavy music. As soon as the album was released, it reached No. 2 in the UK — something that had not happened with any of their other works.
