Senjutsu  by Iron Maiden

The seventeenth album of Iron Maiden is Senjutsu, whose title is the Japanese word for the concept of "tactics." Senjutsu, which was released in 2021, is the band's second double studio album in their long career. The album received very good reviews, but also had one of the best commercial impacts among the band's latest albums.

Iron Maiden, under the guidance of Steve Harris, continue here to create progressive metal songs, whose common and basic characteristic is their long duration. Senjutsu released two singles, The Writing On The Wall and Stratego. The creator of the album cover was the English designer Mark Wilkinson, who depicted Eddie as a Samurai warrior.

Senjutsu managed to reach No.1 in the United Kingdom and sell 100,000 copies there.
