About the album The God-Shaped Void

The story of Psychotic Waltz begins back in 1988 in California, where this progressive metal band was formed. The rest of the band's history is filled with unfortunate moments and bad choices to the point that their 2020 album The God-Shaped Void is the fifth of their career and it came 24 years after their fourth one (!)

Because Psychotic Waltz gained a good core of fans on European soil - and not American - it was logical for the German record label Inside Out Music to sign a contract with them in 2019, thus allowing them to record The God-Shaped Void with them, whose sound moves in the classic progressive metal sound of the '90s. The album is suitable for anyone who wants to embark on a musical journey to the past.

The producer of the album was Ulrich Wild. The album made a sensation at the time of its release in metal music circles.
