About the album Stars Of CCTV
Most of the songs on the album Stars Of CCTV by the British band Hard-Fi were recorded in various unusual places that hardly resembled recording studios, places like bedrooms or pubs, and then producer Wolsey White would refine them, so that they could find a place on an official album. This is the story behind the debut of Hard-Fi, a band from Surrey, England.
Stars Of CCTV was one of the most interesting releases in the British indie rock scene for the year 2005. The album's success relied on singles like Cash Machine and of course Hard To Beat. The main star of the record is the singer and composer of all the songs, Richard Archer, who also participates in the production of the record. The initial expectation and estimate of Hard-Fi's record company for the album's sales were extremely low. For this reason, only 1,000 copies were prepared, which disappeared in the blink of an eye. Sales of Stars Of CCTV are now estimated to have exceeded 1,200,000 copies worldwide.
The album reached No. 1 in the United Kingdom, where it went platinum twice.
