About the album Blood To Bone
The third album by Gin Wigmore was released in 2015. The New Zealand singer returns with Blood To Bone, an album in which she presents a different musical style from her first two albums. Here the sound is more electronic without straying from the broader framework of alternative rock.
Blood To Bone was recorded in Los Angeles in August 2014 and the process took two weeks. The compositions belong to her and several of her collaborators. The production of the album was handled by her and Stuart Crichton. The two singles from the album were New Rush and Written In The Water.
The third album reached No. 1 in New Zealand and No. 13 in Australia, but it couldn't achieve any success in the USA, at least in the Billboard Top-200, as it managed to reach the 23rd position in the Top Alternative Albums.
