About the album Second Album

The unbeatable and unstoppable trio of Holland–Dozier–Holland primarily created the Second Album of the Four Tops, an album in which you will hear songs that were the crème de la crème of soul music in the mid-1960s. The Second Album was released in 1965.

The performances of the Four Tops quartet have remained unforgettable over time, and songs like I Can't Help Myself or It's The Same Old Song have written their own page in the book of soul and pop music of the 1960s. The Hitsville U.S.A. studio was the place where this album was recorded, and Motown Records gave us another masterful record.

The Second Album reached No. 5 on the Billboard chart, while in the United Kingdom it has sold 200,000 copies (!)
