About the album Hold On, I’m Comin’
Sam Moore and Dave Prater from Florida, known as Sam & Dave, present their first album titled Hold On, I'm Comin' in 1966 and immediately achieve success.
Most of the songs are compositions by the duo Isaac Hayes and David Porter, and Hold On, I'm Comin' was released by Stax Records.
The title of the song and the entire album comes from the phrase that Porter shouted to the annoyed Hayes when the former was in the studio's bathroom and was taking a long time to come out (!)
