A Head Full Of Dreams  by Coldplay

After the end of the promotional tour for their sixth album, Coldplay entered the studio in December 2014 and began recordings for their next work. A Head Full Of Dreams would be the title of their seventh album and would be released a year later, in December 2015.

In order to compose the songs that would make up their new album, Coldplay collaborated with the Norwegian songwriting duo Stargate, while for the production of the album, Rik Simpson was once again present in the studio. The sound of the band from London has now diversified in every aspect compared to their earlier works. Pop has dominated every song contained in A Head Full Of Dreams.

Although it did not receive the best reviews, the album managed to resonate with the public and became the eighth best-selling album in the year of its release, selling 1,900,000 copies worldwide. The singles that pushed the album were Adventure Of A Lifetime and Hymn For The Weekend. A Head Full Of Dreams reached No.1 in the United Kingdom, while in the U.S. it managed to reach No.2.
