The name of this album is Only The Strong Survive and it will be the second album of the American songwriter that is filled with covers of other songs.
Ron Aniello is found in the production of Only The Strong Survive, and he plays almost all the musical instruments heard on the album except for Bruce Springsteen's parts. In two songs, Soul Days and I Forgot To Be Your Lover, soul legend Sam Moore participates in the backing vocals.
The album reached No. 8 on the Billboard.
