About the album Devils & Dust

Devils & Dust from 2005 is the thirteenth studio album by Bruce Springsteen and is another collaboration with producer Brendan O'Brien. The album is primarily an acoustic country rock record in which the E-Street Band does not participate except for some of its individual members,

Bruce Springsteen has revealed that several songs were intended for other albums but ultimately ended up here. Such songs include the second single of the album, All The Way Home, which could have been on Lucky Town from 1992 or The Hitter, which was intended for The Ghost Of Tom Joad from 1995.

Devils & Dust reached No. 1 in the U.S. in its first week of release. It also hit No. 1 in many other countries, such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Italy. In the U.S., its sales have made it gold.
