Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young
About the album Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
In 1969, Neil Young delivers his first masterpiece with his second album, which is Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, featuring Crazy Horse for the first time. Crazy Horse were initially called The Rockets and had met Young, who invited them to the studio, and everything happened very simply and naturally as Neil Young started their songs and the other three joined in and followed.
The album contains some of his most classic songs. It suffices to say here that Neil Young composed Cinnamon Girl, Down By The River, and Cowgirl In The Sand in the same day while he was burning with fever.
The album did not have immediate success, but it is now considered one of the best albums of Neil Young’s long career.
