About the album Blood On The Tracks
The 1975 album Blood On The Tracks will become the fifteenth studio album by Bob Dylan. Although it was not well-received by the public at the time of its release, over time the album demonstrated its value. Its sound is the typical Bob Dylan sound, that is folk, folk rock, and blues.
The ten songs of Blood On The Tracks were recorded half in New York and the other half in Minneapolis. The producer of the New York songs is Phil Ramone, while the producer of the Minneapolis songs is Bob Dylan himself. Despite the fact that Bob Dylan has denied it, the lyrics of the songs all revolve around his upcoming separation from his wife Sara.
The album sold over 2,000,000 copies in the U.S.A. and is one of the most commercially successful albums of this great songwriter.
