About the album Post

Björk's 1995 release, Post, serves as a very good follow-up to Debut for the Icelandic artist Björk (her full name is Björk Guðmundsdóttir). The album has sold 3,000,000 copies worldwide.

Björk has now left Iceland and lives in London to be close to what is happening in England's music industry in the early 90s, and this is reflected in her second album, where one can hear trip-hop influences.

The title of the album Post was given for two reasons as it means "after" and "mail." The "after" relates to Björk having taken her next step in England and the "mail" reflects the way she communicated with her family back in her homeland.
