Steely Dan is an American rock band, formed in 1972 by Walter Becker and Donald Fagen. They are known for their unique sound that combines rock, jazz, blues, and pop elements. Their most famous hits include "Reelin' in the Years," "Rikki Don't Lose That Number," and "Do It Again." The band gained recognition for the impeccable production of their albums and the complexity of their compositions. Although they stopped touring in 1981, they reunited in 1993 and continued to create music and perform live. In 2001, they won the Grammy Award for "Album of the Year" with "Two Against Nature."
