With his distinctive moves and unique voice, he gained enormous popularity in the 1950s. Elvis released many hits such as "Heartbreak Hotel," "Hound Dog," and "Jailhouse Rock." He was equally known for his appearances in films. Although he died on August 16, 1977, his influence on music and pop culture remains alive to this day.
