The Man-Machine by Kraftwerk
About the album The Man-Machine
The German Kraftwerk continue to pleasantly surprise their audience with the electronic sound they compose and offer. In The Man-Machine of 1978, the melodies that traverse the rhythms are lighter and more "humorous".
The Machine-Man wants to satirize the mechanized society – primarily of their homeland –, but also the growing dependence of humans on machines.
In Germany, the album sold 150,000 copies, while the single The Model continues to be the trademark of the quartet from Düsseldorf.
