After nine months in the studios in 1978, the Toto group released their first album and immediately managed to turn the spotlight on themselves. Its sound moves between smooth jazz, soft rock, and funk rock.
It is one of the most well-crafted debuts of all time as all the musicians who formed Toto had worked in previous years alongside acclaimed names.
In their homeland in the USA, the album reached No. 9 and sold 2,000,000 copies.
