About the album The Fray

Four years after their quadruple platinum debut, the American band The Fray from Denver, Colorado, returns to discography with an album for which they have chosen the name of their band as the title. The compositions are by Isaac Slade and Joe King.

Here, The Fray present an album that moves within the broader musical style of alternative rock and pop music. The Fray began recording around mid-2007, but it was completed in July 2008. From the album, four singles emerged, with the most successful being You Found Me, which achieved success beyond the United States in countries such as Australia, Ireland, Canada, and Greece. The band initially presented the song to a close circle of fans before its release to see the response from the public. In these performances, the song was titled Amistad.

The album went platinum in the U.S., while in the United Kingdom, with the 60,000 copies sold, it managed to achieve silver status.
