Colour by The Christians
About the album Colour
The Colour from 1990 becomes the second LP of the British band, The Christians. The Colour is an album filled with soul and sophisti-pop songs, tracks that would grant the band from the city of Liverpool a fleeting success and recognition.
The majority of the songs on the record were created by the keyboardist and founding member of the group, Henry Priestman. The lyrics of the songs are characterized by a Christian spirituality and religiosity – besides, the band's name leaves little room for anything different. From the album, "Words," which is a traditional song, and "I Found Out" stood out. The producer of Colour was Laurie Latham.
The album went platinum in Great Britain, where it reached No.1 on the country's charts, and it made a significant impression in other European countries as well.
