About the album Between 10th And 11th
The British band Charlatans returned in 1992 with their second studio album, titled Between 10th And 11th. The album began to be created immediately after the release of their debut, but some problems arose, such as the departure of guitarist John Baker and his replacement by Mark Collins, or the admission of bassist Martin Blunt to a hospital, so its release took place in March 1992.
Musically, Between 10th And 11th was part of the Madchester scene, which of course by 1992 was departing from the British music happenings. In contrast to their first album, Between 10th And 11th faced harsh criticism even for its cover. The album's production was by Flood and Hugh Jones. The album's singles Weirdo and Tremelo Song reached No.19 and No.44 in the United Kingdom, respectively.
The album reached No.21 in Britain, while in the U.S., despite the Charlatans making some promotional appearances for the album, it barely reached No.173.
