About the album A Hard Day's Night

In the context of the absolute exploitation of the enormous success of the "name" The Beatles, in 1964 the comedy film "A Hard Day's Night" was released, concerning the band. For the needs of the film's soundtrack, some songs were written, which formed the first side of The Beatles' third studio album titled A Hard Day's Night. The major hits on both sides of the Atlantic were the title song of the album and "Can't Buy Me Love."

The title of the record and the song emerged from a spontaneous phrase by Ringo Starr after a strenuous day in the studio in their effort to write and record material for their album. What is commonly accepted is that the Beatles began to write technically better songs on this record than they had done on the previous two. Critics began to take them more seriously, and one reason for this is the complete absence of cover songs. All the tracks are compositions of the Lennon–McCartney duo. Producer here as well is George Martin.

The album A Hard Day's Night has now exceeded 5,000,000 copies worldwide.
