About the album The Seeds Of Love

The Seeds Of Love was a very successful album for Tears For Fears in 1989, as it reached the Top-10 in many countries and sold nearly 2,000,000 copies. In the U.S., it achieved sales of over 1,000,000 copies.

It is considered and is the most sophisticated and artistically flawless album of Tears For Fears, something that starts from its cover and continues into its compositions, as there are traces from jazz to Beatles and from rock compositions to progressive elements.

The production and recording of The Seeds Of Love cost over 1,000,000 pounds! The production was handled by Tears For Fears and Dave Bascombe. The creation of the album started in late 1986 and was completed in July 1989 (!)
