About the album Suzi Quatro
Suzi Quatro and her band managed with their first album titled Suzi Quatro to impress a fairly wide audience. The album was released in October 1973, and its musical style fully matched the glam rock that was at its peak at the time.
The overwhelming majority of the album's compositions were by Suzi Quatro and the band's guitarist Len Turkey. Can The Can, the album's biggest hit, 48 Crash, and All Shook Up were the three official singles of the album that led to very good chart positions mainly in European countries, as the album in the United States stalled at position No. 142 on the Billboard chart.
The production of the album was handled by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, a duo of British producers who were delivering hits in the mid-1970s.
