Indiscreet by Sparks
About the album Indiscreet
The fifth album by Sparks was released in October 1975. Its title was Indiscreet and it was recorded in the personal studio of its producer, Tony Visconti, in London.
The American Sparks, combining clever, humorous, and caustic lyrics with art pop and glam rock, created a distinctive album in the mid-1970s. The main composer of all twelve compositions that comprise the album is Ron Mael, except for the song Pineapple, which is a composition by Ron's brother, Russell Mael. The two singles from the album were Get In The Swing and Looks, Looks, Looks.
Indiscreet was successful in the United Kingdom, where it reached No. 18. In contrast, the album barely reached No. 169 in the USA.
