About the album Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme

The duo of Simon & Garfunkel needed to spend three months in the studio in order to achieve the sound they wanted for the eleven songs of their third album. The record Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme was released in October 1966. Its recording took place between December 1965 and August 1966.

Paul Simon initially struggled to write new songs. Ultimately, he managed to compose some of the duo's most characteristic songs, such as Homeward Bound or The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy).

The album reached No. 4 on the Billboard, while its sales in the U.S. alone exceeded 3,000,000.
