About the album Santana ΙΙΙ

Santana III of 1971 has two singles, Everybody's Everything and Everybody's Everything, which grant Santana's third studio album the first place on the Billboard for the second consecutive year. This first place would come again after 28 years with the album Supernatural.

In their third album, Santana continues to present the sound of their first two albums. Fusion rock, psychedelia, and Latin rock, but with more inclination towards experimentation. The extremely impressive and psychedelic cover of the record has led some to call the album "Man with an Outstretched Hand". Santana III was recorded at the Columbia Studios in San Francisco from January to July of 1971. The band itself was responsible for the production of the album.

The sales of Santana III in the U.S. exceeded 2,000,000 copies.
