Hot Space by Queen
About the album Hot Space
In 1982, Queen found themselves recording and releasing their tenth studio album, titled Hot Space. Undoubtedly, Queen cannot adapt to the new reality that emerged with the arrival of the 1980s.
Hot Space balances between pop, disco, which by then had ended, funk, which relies on synthesizers, and somewhere in the background, there is also rock. The only songs that truly give value to the album are Under Pressure, a legendary collaboration with David Bowie, and Life Is Real (Song For Lennon), which is dedicated to the Beatle who had so unfairly lost his life a few months earlier.
Hot Space reached No. 51 in Britain, and this is neither accidental nor coincidental.
