About the album Peddlin’ Music On The Side
Lamont Dozier from Detroit will release his fifth solo album titled Peddlin’ Music On The Side, having some members of the Crusaders by his side during the recording, who gave a more jazz tint to his sound.
This is one of the best soul albums in the second half of the '70s, where the enormous compositional experience that Lamont Dozier had acquired at Motown in the previous decade stands out, as a member of the magical composing trio Holland–Dozier–Holland.
The most well-known song and a very big hit was Going Back To My Roots.
