Mind Games by John Lennon
About the album Mind Games
Towards the end of 1973, John Lennon released his third solo album titled Mind Games. The creator of the album was going through an extremely difficult period in his life. The first issue that concerned him was the problems in his relationship with Yoko Ono. The second had to do with the official American authorities, who, due to the positions he publicly took against the foreign policy implemented by the United States at that time, wanted to deport him from the country. All this was captured in Mind Games.
The album was recorded during July and August of 1973 at the Record Plant studios in New York. The producer of the album was John Lennon himself.
The album reached No.9 on the Billboard chart, while in the United Kingdom it stopped at No.13.
